Human Rights Commission boss takes down DSS action – in 5 tweets – YNaija
After waking up to news of abduction of judges by operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS), Nigerians have taken to Twitter to denounce what they call Gestapo-style arrests without following due process. Most of the blame has gone directly to Pres. Muhammadu Buhari whose office is operationally in charge of the DSS.
One voice coming loud, clear, and strong is that of the Chairman of the National Human Rights Commission, Chidi Odinkalu, who has called the simultaneous sting operation across half a dozen states as “intimidation of the judiciary”.
