Wynn Resorts would pay an undisclosed fine as part of a settlement with Nevada regulators over allegations of sexual misconduct against founder Steve Wynn.
The Nevada Gaming Control Board released its stipulation for settlement Monday, saying Wynn Resorts made several changes to its leadership and business practices to create a better workplace.
Wynn Resorts said in a statement that it has “fully cooperated and been transparent with” the Gaming Control Board’s investigation.
“Upon learning of the extent of the allegations, the new leadership of Wynn Resorts took immediate actions to ensure an open and safe work environment for all employees and made dramatic changes at every level of key decision-making in the Company,” the statement reads.
The Nevada Gaming Commission will determine an exact fine when it reviews the settlement for approval.
The Gaming Control Board said a year ago it would investigate several allegations of sexual misconduct made against Steve Wynn, the founder and former CEO of the company. Wynn has denied the allegations.
Wynn Resorts remains in its legal battle with the Massachusetts Gaming Commission over the allegations.
