A thief sprayed a woman in the face with an unknown substance and snatched her purse in the West Village, police said Friday.
The spraying suspect attacked the 33-year-old victim on the corner of Horatio and Greenwich Sts. around 2:15 a.m. Tuesday, cops said.
He swiped her bag and took off toward Jane St., according to officials.
EMS workers took the woman to Lenox Hill Hospital where she was treated for her injuries.

The suspect, who is described as around 5-foot-9 and 230 pounds, ran toward Jane St. after the attack, according to cops.
Cops released surveillance video of the suspect, who is described as around 5-foot-9 and 230 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.
