RCMP confirm missing 22-year-old found safe – Kelowna News

Kelowna RCMP confirmed Sunday evening, 22-year-old Dylan McNeil has been located.
“The Kelowna RCMP are grateful for the assistance of the Central Okanagan Search and Rescue, RCMP Air Services and RCMP Police Dog Service along with the media and public for their assistance,” Cpl. Mike Della-Paolera said.

Central Okanagan Search and Rescue has been told by RCMP to pause their search for missing 22-year-old Dylan McNeil.
COSAR manager, Duane Tresnich tells Castanet the COSAR team spent the majority of the day Sunday searching for the man in the Postil Lake Road area but has been unable to locate him.
The Kelowna RCMP say they will continue to investigate what may have led to McNeil’s disappearance.
His grey 2014 Ford Fusion was found parked along Postil Lake Road on Sunday.
Family members say Dylan McNeil was reportedly last seen on Sunday, October 16th in Kelowna, and there has been no bank or phone activity since.

Central Okanagan Search and Rescue and the Kelowna RCMP continue to search for a missing 22-year-old in the Postill Lake Road area.
Family members say Dylan McNeil was reportedly last seen on Sunday, October 16th in Kelowna, and there has been no bank or phone activity since.
Keyana McNeil tells Castanet Dylan recently expressed concern for his safety and well-being.
On Sunday COSAR, and Kelowna RCMP joined in a search for the man after his grey 2014 Ford Fusion was found parked along Postil Lake Road.
“We believe his vehicle was here sometime between Friday afternoon and Saturday morning,” said COSAR manager, Duane Tresnich.
Tresnich says McNeil left nothing in his vehicle.
“We have got 17 members going through some very heavy thick bush to see if he could maybe be hurt or hiding under a rock or by a rock and if he is unconscious he is not going to hear us until we find him.”
COSAR is searching through three key areas along Postil.
McNeil is described as Caucasian, about 165 pounds, with hazel eyes and sandy brown hair, and can usually be seen wearing a flat-brim hat backwards.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Kelowna RCMP.

Central Okanagan Search and Rescue and the RCMP are searching for a young man last seen in Kelowna on October 16.
Crews are out in the Postill Lake Road area looking for 22-year-old Dylan McNeil.
Keyana McNeil wrote to Castanet saying the young man was last seen a week ago, and that there has been no bank or phone activity since.
Keyana tells Castanet Dylan recently expressed concern for his safety and well-being.
Dylan is described as Caucasian, about 165 pounds, with hazel eyes and sandy brown hair, and can usually be seen wearing a flat-brim hat backwards.
He was last seen driving a grey 2014 Ford Fusion with a New Way Docks sticker on the back window near the left-hand corner, with the license plate number: 524 TWA. The vehicle was found along Postill Lake Road.
COSAR says the young man may be wandering the area on foot and is asking the public to keep an eye out for him.
Anyone with information about Dylan McNeil’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Kelowna RCMP.
