Pokemon Masters: All The Trainer Sync Pairs
During a special livestream presentation, the Pokemon Company has announced the first details for Pokemon Masters, a mobile spin-off coming this summer. Pokemon Masters is all about teaming up with famous trainers from throughout the series’ history, and as a result the first look showed off some familiar faces.
After an anime introduction and some words from the producers, the reveal announcement showed off a bevy of trainers with their Pokemon. In this game, each trainer has a single Pokemon that as their partner, in combinations called Sync Pairs. You’ll form of team of three Sync Pairs and take part in real-time battles. The announcement promised 65 Sync Pairs at launch, with more to come post-release.
The initial trailer and announcement showed 14 Sync Pairs. The game will be free-to-play with microtransactions available for purchase. Read up on how the game works.
