Version without optical disc drive retails for US$249.99

Microsoft announced a new “All-Digital Edition” for its Xbox One S console that will launch on May 7 for US$249.99 (US$50 cheaper than the regular Xbox One S). The game will have no optical disc drive, but will have a one-terabyte hard drive, and will ship with the Minecraft, Forza Horizon 3 and Sea of Thieves games. Microsoft reports that the new edition will be available at “select retailers worldwide,” but Microsoft has not yet updated its Japanese website with it.
