Man dies from crashing into tree on Highway 193 in El Dorado County
(FOX40.COM) — A man died after crashing into a tree on Highway 193 in El Dorado County on Friday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP received reports of a crash around 7:30 a.m. but said that the crash could’ve happened earlier that morning or on Thursday evening.
When deputies arrived at the scene, they located a Chevy Truck towing a small trailer that had crashed into a tree while heading westbound on the highway near Longview Lane.
According to officials, deputies believe the driver was not wearing his seatbelt. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the man is not being released at this time. CHP officials said that it has not yet been determined if the driver was under the influence.
