A wildfire that broke out Saturday evening in the Carson National Forest has burned over 10,000 acres, with zero percent containment. The fire initially started on federal land, but has since spread onto some private land as well.A Carson National Forest spokesperson says the fire is located about two miles north of Chacon, at an elevation between 9,000 and 11,000 feet. Smoke from the fire has been seen in Angel Fire, Taos and Mora.The cause of the fire has yet to be determined. No evacuations have been ordered.
