France is imposing nationwide restrictions on how far from their homes people can go, and for what purpose, as part of the country's strategy to stop the spread of the new coronavirus. For most people, the new coronavirus causes only mild or moderate symptoms, but for some it can cause more severe illness, especially in older adults and people with pre-existing health problems.
