The 34-year-old Armstrong is charged with murder charge in connection with the shooting of the 25-year-old Wilson, who was found dead May 11 in an East Austin home.
An arrest warrant was issued for Armstrong, who had not been arrested as of Friday afternoon.
In the affidavit, investigators say Armstrong had split with her longtime boyfriend, professional cyclist Colin Strickland, in October. Strickland then met and became involved with Wilson, but soon got back together with Armstrong.

Who was Anna Moriah Wilson?
Wilson, a competitive gravel and mountain cyclist, was known as a rising star in the sport. She was in town from San Francisco for a race in Hico, northwest of Waco.
She was found dead May 11 in an East Austin home on Maple Avenue.

How did Colin Strickland know Anna Moriah Wilson?
Strickland, also a professional cyclist, met Wilson in Austin in October. He issued a statement to the American-Statesman on Friday, saying the two had a weeklong fling that then turned into a platonic and professional relationship. He said he was no longer romantically involved with Wilson.
“There is no way to adequately express the regret and torture I feel about my proximity to this horrible crime,” Strickland said. “I am sorry, and I simply cannot make sense of this unfathomable situation.”
Strickland has cooperated with authorities in their investigation. He has not been accused of any wrongdoing in the case.
How did Kaitlin Armstrong know Colin Strickland?
Armstrong and Strickland live together in Austin, according to police. They reportedly broke up for a short time in October, but soon got back together.
Armstrong learned in January that Strickland and Wilson had a relationship while the two were broken up, police said. A tipster told police that Armstrong “became furious and was shaking in anger.”
Police say Armstrong deleted her social media accounts and that her boyfriend hasn’t seen her since May 13.
What happened the day of Wilson’s death?
Police say Wilson and Strickland went swimming together at Deep Eddy Pool the day of her death. Wilson left the home where she was staying at around 6 p.m. and returned around 8:30 p.m., investigators said.
According to the affidavit, surveillance video showed a dark SUV appear to pull up to the house one minute after she had returned from swimming with Strickland. Police said the vehicle had a bicycle rack and a luggage rack, and that Armstrong drove a 2012 Jeep Cherokee that day that matches the vehicle on the video.
Later that night, a woman who rents the home where Wilson was staying called police after finding Wilson lying in the bathroom.
