The deceased individual is reportedly a social media influencer, Kübra Karaaslan. Authorities have reportedly opened an investigation into her death after she jumped off the Osmangazi Bridge.
The tragic incident occurred on the bridge connecting Kocaeli and Yalova. According to initial reports, the deceased influencer arrived at the bridge and, for unknown reasons, crossed over the railings of the bridge before going to the edge of it.
Drivers and other persons who witnessed her move to the edge of the bridge tried to persuade her not to jump. Despite all these attempts by various persons who witnessed her move to the edge of the bridge, Kübra Karaaslan jumped from a great height.

The video of the tragic event is reportedly circulating online as various persons were seen urging her to move back before she jumped.

Emergency response teams sent to the bridge later found that Karaaslan had jumped off it.
