General Motors has issued a global recall for more than one million pickups and SUVs to address a power-steering flaw.

Last year, GM issued a recall for a similar problem with 2014 model year trucks and SUVs. Earlier this week, GM issued a recall for faulty braking systems on a number of Buick, Chevrolet, GMC models.

Though the cadence of the recall procedure has not yet been determined, GM said it will notify owners of the affected vehicles and dealers will update the electric power steering module software for free.
