Police respond to EMS call in south St. Louis
ST. LOUIS – Several officers with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department responded to an EMS call for assistance in south St. Louis on Wednesday morning.
There was a large police presence around 11 a.m. in a parking lot near Gravois and Loughborough avenues, located in St. Louis’ Princeton Heights neighborhood. FOX 2 spotted several first responders at the scene, including multiple SLMPD cars and an ambulance.
SLMPD tells FOX 2 that officers responded to an “aid” call from EMS to deal with a combative patient. The patient has since been taken to a hospital.
